Because the LGI team is steeped in substance, the firm is
called upon to provide strategic communications support to
thought leaders in emerging fields. As such, the LGI team
was engaged by the authors of Untapped: Creating Value in
Underserved Markets (Berrett-Koehler, 2006) to promote its
publication.
Leveraging its decade of experience in corporate-community
partnerships and community investment, the LGI team created
a series of speaking engagements and panel discussions in
which the book was showcased. On parallel paths, the LGI team
also was responsible for the placement of trade articles by
the authors in journals for the health care and insurance
industries. LGI also leveraged its relationships with several
